06 ford freestar won't start.
I had a mechanic out and he said it is either the starter, cylinoid or a starter switch under the dash. He then took a screw driver and touched something on the starter and it started. Any sugesstions on what it might be? Also I can't start it now. I'm not sure what he touched on the starter. Thank you!
If he jumped the starter at the solenoid and it started that would eliminate the starter and the solenoid. Your vehicle isn't sending any signal to the starter from the ign/start switch. It may be sending it , but it isn't getting to the solenoid terminal. Depending on your determination and ability we may be able to help isolate the problem. What would you like to do? ,,,,,,,,,,,,hanky
Hi,
I woke up yesterday at 3:30am and about 4 a light in my brain went on. I remember how annoying the beebing was when I satin the car just befor I started my car. I had installed power door locks in my car (witch I bought my car a year ago) has an alarm on it. So all I had to do is lock the doors and it resetted the alarm. Go figure. But thanks anyway. Sam
