Handle came off while the back was full of camping gear.

 

To MinnesotaMike, can you send the schematics to re-attach the liftgate handle for my 2005 Freestar? I've been reading the posts and don't have the ability to tack weld but could crimping a fishing line weight work to keep the handle from sliding off the cable again? I have my mother's electric scooter stuck in the back of the van! THANKS!
