Please Help! I have a 2007 Freestar that the handle came off after many months of one side popping out then going back in. I can't find the hatch release that the guy at the auto parts store said was in the back. I dealt with not having it for a few months, but now I have a brake light that needs to be replaced so I can get my van inspected. I can't replace the light without having the lift gate open. Any help would be appreciated! Thank You!

At one point, I was going to, but the guy who forwarded the information to me asked me not to. Since it was not my information in the first place, I felt that I should respect his request and not post it. Besides, I have no problems sending the information out when requested.

 

Completely defeats the purpose of a forum.

I have had the same problem with the handle i did get mine open and took panel off and the cast piece is snapped. so if anybody can send me the schemitics or if anybody knows the part number so i can try to track this thing down it would be appreciated.

 

All of you people listing your email address on a public forum like this are going to get SPAMMED. There are "bots" that scrub the Net for just this type of information, and you all are just giving it up without a fight.

This is just plain ridiculous.
