My wife just pulled out our liftgate handle-luckily we had just finished packing to return home from vacation. thanks!

Handle came off while the back was full of camping gear.

To MinnesotaMike, can you send the schematics to re-attach the liftgate handle for my 2005 Freestar? I've been reading the posts and don't have the ability to tack weld but could crimping a fishing line weight work to keep the handle from sliding off the cable again? I have my mother's electric scooter stuck in the back of the van! THANKS!

minnesotamike, I also have the same problem with lift gate not opening and any help, diagrams or schematics would be greatly appreciated.
