I have the same problem with my 2006 freestar. The handle came off in my hand. Could someone send me instructions on how to replace/re-attach? Thanks!

Now I too need this information for my 2005 Freestar. Local Ford dealer said the entire panel (license plate area) would have to be replaced with a cost (not including paint) of $750. Yikes! Who wants to pay that. The handle to get the hatch open should not be this difficult to fix.
