Ancient problem ancient vehicle 2004 freestar

I have a 2004 ford freestar and you'll be surprised to learn the hatchback handle came off in my hand. You don't happen to have the schimatics do you? Also my A/C works in the back but blows hot air in the front along with front passenger A/C works great drivers side sucks. Any ideas? I married a mechanic so unless i fix it, it will never get fixed.

Short of replacing the handle, I'm not sure there is a fix for this. If you can't get the door open, try going through the small access panel by the handle inside and moving the release latch manually.
