2005 Freestar Airbag Lamp Code 10-2 Help!!!
I have an 05 Freestar that started flashing the air bag light. It flashes 10 times, then 2, then repeats. I spent a decent amount of time trying to correlate the code, but am really struggling to find the particular code. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Ah. Sorry. Didn't realize it was a link. So according to the link, low battery voltage is code 12. Blink once, pause, then blink twice. I'm blinking 10 times, pause, then 2 times. So that is making me think it is a code 102 as opposed to a code 12. Now I'm clearly I'm in no place to argue, I just don't want to chase the wrong problem. So . . . 10, pause, 2 the same as 1, pause, 2?

Something you might try.
Disconnect the battery negative cable for approx 15 minutes then reconnect it. If you still get screwy codes there is a good possibility the air bag control module is on vacation and might require replacement.
Another thing you can try is to have the codes read and look for a "B" code (body code) which should be 4 digits i.e. BXXXX. Let us know what you found, thanks.

Disconnected for over 20 mins . . . right back to 10 pause 2. I've got a cheap code reader from Harbor Freight, it doesn't show anything . . . but I'm guessing it would take a professional scan tool to read body codes?
I was hoping it was something fairly easy. I'm no mechanic, but I am pretty savvy. But at this point all I know it involves is some component of the air bag system. Lol. May just have to take it to a shop . . .

Many auto supply stores like Autozone will read the codes for you at no charge. Why not try that first and possibly may provide some direction. Just make sure you get the code(s) so you can check them out yourself or post them here and we might be able to offer some help.
