Default 2005 freestar codes p0401 & c1288

The check engine light came on and these codes were found.
They read as bad break switch and exhaust gas recirculation pressure sensor. Where do I find these parts to replace them?

The EGR pressure sensor is built into the EGR valve on the Freestar. The C1288 normally pops up for a bad Brake Pressure Switch which is on the front of the brake master cylinder.

Great ok. Now with the Brake Pressure Switch, is it a sensor, switch or transducer?

It's a screw-in Switch. It's a 15 minute job if you drink a cup of coffee. Remove the air cleaner housing and MAF sensor housing/tube for access. The sensor screws into the bottom front of the master cylinder. Just unplug the sensor, Then using an extra long 7/8 open end wrench, unscrew it (a few drops of brake fluid will come out) and screw in a new one. Ford part number is "7F2Z9F924A". It is about $15+ depending on where you purchase it.
