Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum. I recently acquired a very well kept 2007 limited. I'm going through and trying to correct any small issues it may have. The first one is the missing button (cover) on the climate control. It's the front fan button. It seems the cover simply came off/broke off at some point. I'm hoping I can just snap another back in. If you have any input as to how they come off/go on please let me know. But I figured I'd find a new one to try before I made things worse trying to see if they other ones just snap off.

So far I figured my options are:

• 1: Buy a used unit on ebay (minimum of $40 it seems from a quick check) and rob the button off it
• 2: Check the vans at my local pull-a-part to see if they have a digital climate control with the button still there (and hope that pull-a-part
• 3: See if anyone here might have the remnants of a dead unit they replaced
• 4: Other suggestions?

Pick, pull a part places can be pretty unpredictable. Some want to sell the entire unit, some because it may be damaged allow you to take what you need and pay of course, so you never know until you check.
It never hurts to check with a few Ford dealers,sometimes they can surprise you and let you know if it is available separately.
