Default engine misfiring

it was running badly and getting 8MPG. OBD2 said check spark plugs... removed panel in front of windshield ,. changed plugs and ignition wires. was better but later warning lights on again. OBD2 said wires and plugs causing misfire on # 1 cylinder. off came panel under the hood in front of windshield. not too hard secong time around checked wires and plugs all O>K Then I replaced the coil unit its a one piece unit priced at $69. not bad now 3 weeks later it is still running great mileage ar 16MPG .hope this is helpful to someone else.

Default Removing wiper tray and windshield shroud

Its not too tough, you remove the 8-10 screws on the plastic piece under the rear of the hood after removing the passenger-side wiper blade arm. Once that is off, you remove the windshield shroud that is underneath. It has a few screws and snap-in points, and you have to unplug the two windshiield washer hoses as well as unplugging the windshield wiper motor. LOL.. maybe I have the two operations reversed, but either way, it is pretty easy, just takes about 20 minutes ;-)

Just remenber to re-connect the wiper motor wiring harnes when re-installing the cowl. Been there, forgot that...

Had that..."Great, now what's up with the wipers"...Then the "What an idiot" moment...
