Doing a front brake job on Freestar last night, and didn't realize that the caliper pins were different. There is a short and a long pin, and the short one has a rubber sleeve on part over half of the length. Both pins fit in both holes; one is square on top and one is round with flats. I could take apart the other one, but can I trust it was assembled correctly last time brakes were done? Who knows which one goes on top? I put the one with the rubber sleeve on the bottom. Seems OK after ten miles.
