No moving engagement in gear.
The hydraulic pump is working but when van is running and moved out of park the right side transaxle I think that’s what that is, spins either forward or backward depending on what gear it’s put in, however the van does not move? So what’s broken and what parts need to be replaced? I DON’T have the repair Manuel yet but I’m hoping to get a copy of it in my email.
haven’t gotten the repair Manuel yet where is the lock nut located at on the CV axle? Is it at the end where the boot is? The problem is the shifter goes to each gear but it doesn’t engage so no movement. The trans fluid is a bit low but I took the right tire off and can see right axle spinning?
it’s 2005 ford free star van think it’s a v6
he’s checking to see if the lamp light on ?

The part the tire rim bolts to,the hub, should be secured to the driveshaft and CV joint with a threaded lock nut.
CV joint usually has external splines that go into the splines of the hub.
Is only the driveshaft spinning , or drive shaft and part of CV joint, or entire CV joint, but not the hub ?

I see the the axle and CV joint spinning right up to where the outer boot is but it feels wiggly and I don’t believe the hub was spinning.
that’s the right front and both front wheels are in the air cuz it’s jacked up and while running and taking it out of park to reverse or drive the left wheel axle shaft and CV joint don’t spin like the right does. Also the right driveshaft and CV was still spinning forward in neutral? And I really appreciate the help thank you!

Without being there to see exactly which is SHOT, you will very likely require a R/F axle assy and a R/F hub assy.
If you are planning on doing the work, make sure you clean everything so when you install the hub assy it goes all the way in and be careful with the wheel speed sensor.
