I have a 2004 Ford Freestar. The rear door will not open. The little plastic peace is still in tact and operational, the lock seems to work. I took the panel off and inspected. It started by only opening once in awhile, now not at all. Water gets in there and when I spoke to the guy at the dealership 3 or 4 months ago he told me it was common and gave me a can of spray. I am also wondering where I could find hidden warranty info on what is covered after the factory waranty expires.

You can look through the TSB's and recalls here. Recalls have to be done even if you don't exhibit the problem. TSB are only done if the problem shows up.
