I have a 2005 Ford Freestar Limited. Long story short my third row driver quarter window shattered because of the sliding door roller coming off the track. Upon removing the panel to clean any broken glass and replace the window, I noticed a pretty big hole in my wall caused by rust. I have since done some research and found out that Ford had ended up doing recalls for this exact reason. So I call my local Ford dealer to have them check my recalls on the van, and they tell me they have all been taken care of. I find that odd because of the unrepaired rust, so I have them read to me all the service dates and what has been done. Well they don't mention anything about the third row seat anchor points and the rust recall. Keep in mind my van was produced in Oakville, Ontario Canada and I reside here in the US. Is there certain vans that this recall didn't apply to or something?? Or why are they not seeing this recall for my van cuz I would like to get this fixed. I have been wondering why the road noise is excessively loud, and why my carpet is randomly wet at times.
