Default throttle body freestar

Hi everyone !! I own a 2005 freestar, if I swap the throttle body from a mustang (same year) do I get more power in my van ??? Both have the same essex engine

The Mustang lost the Essex engine in 2005, it got the 4.0 SOHC Cologne engine, so you may need to check the TB's bolt pattern/gasket seat. I doubt that you would actually gain any noticable improvements if the TB will bolt onto the Essex. If you measure both TB's, you probably find them the same size or so close that it wouldn't make any difference.

Engine specs are as follows:

4.0 SOHC Cologne: 210 HP / 240 lb/ft Torque
3.9 OHV Essex : 193 HP / 240 lb/ft Torque
4.2 OHV essex : 201 HP / 263 lb/ft Torque
