On my 2007 Freestyle (auto-transmission) my gear shift handle is starting to stick. I depress the button and try to move out of park and it's a bit sticky. It works, but I have flashbacks to anothe previous vehicle where this lead to having to spend hundreds to replace the entire mechanism. It might just be dirty or have some debris that's impeding the shift. How can I open / clean the area? Thanks!
