I have a 2005 Ford Freestyle and I have a problem with my instrument cluster and dashboard going on and off and then all of the gauges stop working and then start working.[:@]

 

I have a 2005 Ford Freestyle Limited with the instrument cluster problem. Dealer just told me I have a bad instrument cluster circuit board (to the tune of $600 as I'm 2k over warranty period). Was this your problem Kurt1s?

 

My wife just bought an 05 Freestyle that's doing exactly the same thing. I guess we'll take it by the dealership next week and get it checked out since it's still under warranty!

i am having this same problem with my 2005 Freestyle. i have only 56000 mile on my car. Did anyone try to have Ford pay for some of the cost to replace the instrument Cluster, becuase i saw mmrweaver has to pay $600.00 to have it fixed. i saw this problem in alot of other posts. i know that Ford has a TSB out on this. did any one have any luck or let me know what you may have paid to have this replaced.

We have 05 Freestyle and about 65,0000 miles. What does TSB stand for? We just bout this car used a week ago. Is this a part I can buy myself and plug in?

 

TSB means Technical Service Bulletin. You can Google search for "TSB Ford Freestyle".
