Default 2006 Ford Fusion V6 3.0 Battery is draining.

Hi,

I have a 2006 Ford Fusion, which I just replaced the Battery 3 days ago and it is already dead. I had replaced it because I thought the old battery had a bad cell. Now I think I have a parasitic drain. When I went to start the car this morning, the car was completely dead and when I pulled the keys out I started to hear clicking noise coming from the left side of the dash. How do I check for a parasitic drain? I do have a Multimeter if that helps...

If you know how to perform voltage drop testing it will make locating the drain much easier. If you are not sure, just google "voltage drop testing". There are loads of videos to help clarify the procedure. Once you know how to do it, just measure the voltage drop across every fuse and you should find the circuit with the big voltage drop. That will get you in the ball park.
