Default 2007 Engine swap

I have a 2007 Fusion SE 3.0L AWD that just seized up on me. I am needing to replace the engine and was looking for what options I had. I cant find much online on the topic. I was looking at the 2013 ecoboost 2.0L turbo. Its a great price and has very low miles. Will this fit into my car or will there have to be a lot of modifications?

Also do I need to get an engine that is specific to AWD?

sound like you're going from a 6 cyl. engine to a 4 cyl. engine the all wheel drive is for the most part trans. regardless of what type engine is put in front of it. you might run into trouble with the transmission not bolting up to the engine when changing engines. plus the computer is for the 3.0 not the 2.0L engine rule of thumb here is put back in what you take out

If you stick with Grindman's advice you will save yourself a "LOT" of trouble and problems.
