buying a new Fusion
Hi all. I'm new to this forum. I'm looking to replace my wife's car and we drove ford fusion, 4 cylinder. We liked it and it's seems to be getting a good gas mileage. I though it would be a good idea to hear from the owners what you guys think about this car. What is your experience, what kind of problems do you guys experience with this car. Doing a test drive is nice, but you can’t get a good feeling for the car unless you drive it for a while. Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Looks like you might be the trend setter here Don't have any experience with the fushion, but haven't heard anything bad either other than the build/engineering changes.. Think they get pretty good reviews.. My daughter bought a Focus for a commuter, and my vote was the Fushion.. I like the styling better...

RE: buying a new Fusion
Hi, I am a new Fusion owner, all of 3 weeks long, and I gotta tell you I love my Fusion. I'm sure most owners would agree that it can use a few minor improvements, but all-in-all I think you get a lot for your investment. One improvementsome would recommend isa little more head room. However I think properlyadjusting yourseat compensates for this. I'm a 6 footer +, and once adjusted I fit comfortably in the driver's seat.Ionly wish the manual transmission came in a 6 cylinder. I owna 2008 model, I4, SEL trim, white suede with black leather interior. It is a good looking car andthe ride's not to bad either. I'm living in Germany (bought it through an Exchange dealer)and this car is even grabbing the attention of the Mercedes drivers. I'm havin' a blast driving it on the Autobahns! So in short, would I recommend this car to anyone? MOST DEFINITELY!

I have a 2008 SE with 4 cylinders. Highway MPG has gotten up to 35 for about a 90 mile trip. That isat 55 mph on speed control.Pickup from a start is not the best but once moving the car has no problem moving at highway speeds.
