Default Checking plug-in battery charge level thru app

I have a 2020 Fusion Energi PHEV and when I first got it 18 mos ago I could check the charge level through the Myford Mobile app while it was charging at the local charge station a few blocks from my house. A few months ago the app suddenly was "decommissioned" by Ford and the message upon opening the app says you have to use the FordPass app now. But adding the car to that app says it's an EV and you have to use the Myford Mobile app. Not a big problem but now there's no way to monitor the charge level besides guessing. With only one charge station nearby and a lot of people needing to use it I'm just trying to not stay on the plug longer than I have to.
Anybody know anything about the app status?
