Error gear not in park 2013 Fussion
I have a 2013 Ford Fusion (under 4k miles) and car stalls while you’re in motion. Example If I am on the NJ Turnpike doing about 65 MPH + the engine will stall out and gauges will go dark. There will be an error of gear not in park. This is a very serious situation while you driving on the highway or even crossing an intersection and you have no power to move when you need it.
The car has been in the Ford dealer shop twice for the same issue. I am about to follow up with the lemon law for the car going back to an authorized shop for the third time.
My car has been out of service for about 17 days.
We have had the recall firmware update implemented. Head lights were also fixed on another recall.
Solution suggested was to replace two modules in the car after ford technician had contacted the ford hotline.
Anyone else having issues with Ford Fusion 2013
