Ford Fusion 2011 Sport - Fender Bracket to Rail Clip Issue
Hello everyone, thought I'd give this forum a shot for some help with a question. I have a new fender I sourced out of a junk yard, it has a bracket on it, and I can't remember how my old one came off. If it was secured by a clip, (It has 2 grooves running through it which looks like a clip would slide into and retain its location) I have a few photos of the bracket its a square protrusion that inserts into a square slot on the rail by the engine, I need to know what this bracket is called, what the square locking mechanism is called, and also how i should go about reattaching the fender liner nut or if i need to completely install a new fender liner nut. And also I have a Rocker Trim Panel, I need to install on the Rocker Plate, but its dented, and a few of the retaining clips have fallen off, I need help sourcing them and the names of the parts. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.
I suspect what you are looking for are assorted plastic "{Retainers".
Body shops us them all the time and may be able to assist with some or at least tell you where they get them. Very common and used a lot for trim and some door panel work.
If you checked with a good local auto supply store they very likely have assortments of them hanging on displays..
If you want to purchase online, you may have to purchase a box of assorted retainers, individual pieces usually are not available for sale..
