Question Fusion 2012, should I fix before selling?

I have a Ford Fusion 2012, which I have had many issues with and am looking to sell. I currently have 2 problems with the car.

The first issue is that the A/C needs a new compressor and a recharge with dye. I got a quote on it from a mechanic and they estimated $655 plus tax.

The second issue is the driver door handle is busted. I looked on youtube and found an easy fix for it that I could do myself, it would cost about $20 for the door handle piece.

My question is whether I should get these issues fixed prior to selling, or if I should just sell the car as is?

Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks!!

Thumbs up

Welcome to the site...

Well,, could go either way,, if it's really clean, lower miles, it may command a higher value if it's a turn key car. But,, if the investment to fix it doesn't recover a fair amount of the costs with the sale, might try and sell it 'as is' value deal to someone that can fix it.
That said, IMO, I'd fix the door handle. Some may not care about A/C ( although the compressor has to run for Defrost functions) but if an outside entry handle busted,, may set the tone for 'extra grinding' on the offered sale price...

Where do you live ?

I live in the south central USA .

Selling it here in the summer would be difficult .

How did you determine it needs a new compressor ?

God bless
