Default Just a few question's about my 2010 Fusion.

Hi everyone, I just have a couple questions about my 2010 Fusion SEL V6.

1. Where can I hookup a tow strap or chain? To pull out of a ditch for example.

2. When I shift into drive or reverse there is a 2-3 sec delay before it engages. Is this normal? If not what can I do to fix it?

Thank you.
Chad

use the factory hold down loops on the body/frame. they were installed to hold the vehicle during transport... the next option is a reinforced part of the frame or wheel assembly. don't grip/hook onto anything that is part of the steering or suspension support assembly. unless it is part of a frame or sub frame... damage will result costing lots of $$$$$..
check your trans fluid level for the slow shift.. if o.k. then you have a poor seal in the torque converter, low pressure to the bands/clutches. get it fixed before the repairs become more expensive...$$$$$

Thanks for the info. I will definitely check that out. Do you know approximately where the tie down hooks are? Thanks again.
