Hey guys,

I recently bought a 2018 Ford Fusion used with 40,000 miles the key fob was working as it should but then went dead after a week or so owning it, after replacing the battery my trunk button on the key no longer worked. Every other access works fine such as the button the release the trunk inside, and on the trunk but the key just doesn’t want to open it. Any tips before running off to the dealer?

 

So all buttons on the remote other then the trunk one work correctly and the trunk works correctly using the on/in vehicle buttons?
If that is correct then bad news you need a new remote cause yours is broke.
