Default Parking Brake won’t release

Hello, I have a 2013 SE with a parking brake that won’t release, even to go into service mode. I can here the motor running on the driver’s side, but nothing happens and the red warning like flashes. Scanner pulled up C2006-74 saying left actuator is slipping. Any ideas on how to release the brake so I can at least get the thing towed to the shop?

I would suggest leaving releasing the parking brake to the guy doing the towing. He should know what to do to release it so it can be towed to the shop and repairs done.

I dont think you can, I would suggest getting a smaller tow truck that has the arm that goes under the vehicle and lifts up a single axle, have the tow truck lift the rear axle, transmission in neutral I guess too.
Seen them towed this way for parking brake issues at my dealer.
