so we have swapped a transmission from an 89 for our 91 mustang. we noticed after we had removed and replaced them that one of the plugs is not the same. one plug in the 91 has a red, orange, and black with a yellow tracer for wires. the 89 just had red and orange.

please tell me i didnt do all that work for nothing and whether i can cut the old connector of the other car and swap that and make another use for the black/yellow wire or just ignore it completely.....
