Default 98 GT Theft Light, Cranks, No Start

Could use ya'lls help before i call a locksmith.

I have a 1998 Mustang GT. Its a longer term project, and i let it sit for awhile, with and without the battery hooked up. I tried starting it up again recently and the engine would turn over but not fire up. While i crank it, the Theft light flashes.

All ignition components are new. The car ran ricky tick before i let it sit. Fuel Pressure test shows no fuel pressure. I am using the original keys, same keys that came with the vehicle and worked before.

Anything else i should check before i call a locksmith?

I have a 2002 and was told first off that if I ever had a problem where it wouldn’t start due to no gas getting to it, to check the fuel pump cut off. It’s in the trunk driver side where you change the brake lights behind the protective rug like cover. As soon as you pull that off you’ll see a device with a big red button on top, that’s the fuel pump reset. Try that! 😉👍
