I've been having a couple problems with my V6, manual transmission 1999 mustang. The car has been idling roughly and shakes when stopped. Secondly, it emits clouds of exhuast when started up and will emit some when shifting gears. Any advice as to what the issue may be.

What color are the clouds of exhaust?

If they are black, you are somehow running too rich.

If they are blue or grey, you are burning oil.

If they are white, you are burning coolant.
