A friend of mine is just begging to be beat down in his bike by anyone willing to step. The catch is that it is an 05 R1 bike & is very fast....anyone in the Baltimore area want to go at it & shut him up for me?

My cousins mustang, 84 with a built to the ***** 351W, 4sp, 4.10 posi rear end, and sucking on the bottle could prolly give him a run.

I sure wish I lived in your area too. I love when some kid gets a new bike and thinks it's the fastest thing on the road. I also have an R1, but it's a 2004. I have slight mods done to it and the best time I have gotton so far was 10.19. The '93 notchback I just put back togeather with a small block/ procharger, consistantly beats that time by approx. 1 second using dot approved slicks. With the best rider, a 2005 R1 in stock form, you may see a low-mid 10 second pass in the very best conditions.
