c-4 trans 200 six 67 mustang
need some help to cal the speedometer i purchased the driven gear kit 17-20 gears even with the smallest gear the speedometer is off by about 30 mph [at 60 its reading about 30] !! on the speedometer!! i have a 3.10 ratio rear and i have 24inch dia tires all the way around appreciate the help thanks!!! For what it might be worth,
YEARS, ago Ryder Truck Rental had a kit to make adapters to be installed on the trans for mechanical speedometers. For vehicles that put on a lot of miles and charges were per mile traveled,you could see where it paid to be accurate. Don't know if they use them anymore, but they might be ale to direct you to a place that might be able to help here.
