Default 02 3.0 going to idle problem

At times when braking and the engine is returning to idle, the RPMs will go way down and sometimes it dies.I don't think it's a spark plug problem and have checked vacuum hoses. I replaced the throttle position sensor and no change. Have had the truck since it was new and the engine light has never come on.Wouldn'ta bad sensor trigger a light? Any suggestions on what else to check before taking it in to the shop?

I am having the same issue with my rnager edge. Mine has a 4.0L. had advance auto hook up there computer to it and they said that the bank 1 and 2 o2 sensors were stuck lean, also a bunch of lean codes after that. I am going to take it to the dealer monday. I tried replacing the Iac motor, both o2 sensors, did a oil change, changed out all teh plugs, Changed the fuel filter and cleaned my K&N air filter. None of those this fixed it. Only other 2 things I was able to think of that might be causeing the problen would be the fuel injectors are cloged or the ECU has some serious issue. Hopin what ever it is the dealer wont rape me to bad.

Good luck and I would be interested in what they determine is the problem.
