Default 94 Explorer Stalls at idle or going 60mph

My 94 Explorer has been stalling on a regular basis. It will stall at idle, town driving and even highway. It never has a problem starting initially and it's not even consistent when the car gets warm (stalled a block from the house or after 30 miles of driving). I have been to 4 different mechanics and they've changed the battery, cables, fuel filter, a relay and alternator, and it is continuing to happen. The last thing to be changed was the alternator. Any suggestions? The check engine light has never come on during any of this (been happening for the last two months), but did today. If I let the car sit for about 30 minutes, it will eventually start back up. I appreciate any help and me being a girl, am thinking that the mechanics are having a field day with my lack of knowledge in this department.
