I have a 02 Ranger XLT 4x4, w/ 4.0L. With fresh snow on the ground, today I discovered my 4x4 isn't engaging. I checked the fuse in the cab and the other under the hood; then replaced the transfer case motor. Still nothing....just wet and cold. Any suggestions? Thanks!

 

My 97-98 4x4 B3000 does that when my under carriage gets soaked wtih mud or what have you. I figure some wiring isnt sealed properly. Personally I hate the damned elctric 4x4 set up. Best of luck!
