Default 05 Edge Problems

Hey, new to the forum. I just wanted to see who out there has had these problems with their ranger and what they could possibly be. I have an 05 Edge with a 3.0 V6 and manual transmission. A few months ago the transmission started to get a whine in it while I was driving around 45-55 mph. When I push the clutch in the noise stops. Any ideas? Also, I notice a couple of days ago that my front wheels appear to be bowed out. It looks like it is out of alignment. I have the torsion bars on there and wanted to know if there was any adjustment on those? If so then how to adjust? Also, could those be adjusted enough to level the front ride? Thanks for any insight.

Default RE: 05 Edge Problems

Well since no one wants to reply then I will give an update. I adjusted my torsion bars last night and man that makes a difference. I lifted the front end about 1/2 inch. The ride is a little stiffer but the wheels are not as bowed as they were. I am wondering if the preload on the bars loosened up since I had it... I also plan on servicing my tranny. Maybe that will take care of the whining noise.
