Exclamation 1993 Ford Ranger Steering Gear

I have a Ranger that is leaking out of the bottom of the steering box, just above the pitman arm (Ive degreased the motor and Im sure of that). There is no seal or nothing there but online Ive found seal kits, can these be put in with the box on the truck, by only removing the pitman arm? Any help would be great!

Yes there is a seal in the bottom of the gear box, there is a snap ring that as to be removed after the pitman arm is pulled off. I could not figure out a better way to get the old seal out. so I put a bucket under it, an cranked the steering all the way one way after removeing the pitman arm and the snap ring. as soon as the pump build PSI OUT comes the seal.
May be a better way but this worked very well for me.
