Default 1996 Ranger 2WD XLT Repair shop cant align

Hi,
I recently went to a Firestone for new tires and an alignment because it pulls to the right. Afterwards it still pulls to the right and they cant figure out why it does it. Their suggestion is it may need an adjustment on the camber but there is no adjustment for my vehicle. Can someone shed some light on this? Also my vehicle shakes around 65 mph and I currently have 287K miles.

The camber is adjustable. Rangers use degree'd camber bushings. So depending on how many degrees the camber needs adjusted will determine which degree camber bushing that would need installed.

I have never heard of a shop that could not do an alignment. Especially a "Firestone" I mean, their in the business of tires and alignments. Guess I'll try Goodyear. I thank you for your reply. I'm trying to stay away from the Dealership for now.

Firestone and Goodyear are more of a numbers shop. Your best bet is a good local shop that actually does front-end alignments for a living. We have a local tire dealer that does repairs that I have mine done at. They have an old school mechanic who I've known for about 28 years. He's the only one that does front-end alignments because he's that good.

Thanks! Sorry Not to reply sooner. Most advice I've been hearing is exactly what you said. I just have to find a local , trustworthy mechanic. At least Firestone was honest and said they couldnt do it. I just didn't believe that it Couldnt be done
