I need to preface my problem with this explanation: My CC switches on the steering wheel worked just fine, but the tops had gotten brittle and come off, exposing the circuit board/switches inside. So I decided to replace the switches. Bought the part online and installed it. Now I can't get the "Set" switch to work. I checked my installation and don't see anything wrong. All other systems are working properly. Have checked the fuse and it is OK. The "Speed Cont" indicator in the instrument panel flashes every 5 seconds, but that is the only indication that the CC is operating. I have Googled the subject and have found nothing related to my problem. Anyone have any ideas as to what my problem might be?

 

Something you might check, verify you rec'd the correct parts for your particular vehicle with a dealership parts dept if they are cooperative. Parts purchased on line can sometimes not be correct..
