need to get bigger tires and rims for my 02 ranger 4x4 edge pkg...can someone tell me what 17 " rim size and largest tire size i can put w/o lifting truck. thanks

 

no idea what size tire you can go up with 17 inch rims.I have a 2003 ranger edge 2wd andI have 30 x 9.5 /15 tires on it. I am planing on getting new tires with in the next month or so and i am planing to go up in size to 32x10/15. So i imagin you can get your 17 inch rims with a tire that is around 30x10/17. I may be wrong about the calculations thought as I havent worked in the auto industry in over 7 years. I would go to a store that sells rims and talk to them about fitting and tire sizes. Either way you will want to talk to who ever you buy the rims from and find out if the rims will fit your vehicle. Not all wheel lug patterns are alike.
