92 ranger oil pressure switch
I am out of town atm ( without my manuals) and trying to locate the oil pressure switch. Engine will not run, fluids look good, expect that the OPS is bad and preventing fuel pump from sending gas to engine. Would like to by pass the switch to check scenario.
This vehicle does not depend on oil pressure to turn the fuel pump on. It may be that y9our inertia switch has gotten kicked or unplugged. It is on the passenger side toe board, and a very common problem. Other than that, does the check engine lite come on when you turn the key on and go off when cranking the engine. Can you hear the fuel pump come on for 2 seconds when you turn the key to the on position? That would indicate a working system. Maybe a fuel pump relay, located on the passenger side under the hood, under the fuse box (green in color). Just a few suggestions
