Ok I am new here so I am sorry if this has been posted before. I have a 94 ranger that was given to me by a friend and I was ondering if I can simply ( simple being the operative word) swap out the electric one for a manual shifting one. It is a v6 with a manual transmission and it is great especially for being free. I would like the 4wd to work but dont like the idea of the electric motor crapping out on my again out in the middle of gods creation.
