I was able to change every drop of trans fluid in my daughters focus. now I want to do my automatic ranger but I just don't want what's in the pan. I cant find a source on how to get all the fluid out. any helpers out there?

The only way to get all the fluid out is to disassemble the trans.
There is nothing wrong with dropping the pan and see what you have in there first. If you have more than the usual paste in the bottom of the pan then a fluid flush won't do any good anyway. You also have the option of changing the fluid and filter more frequently. It usually does no harm.

Thanks Hanky,
That's a bummer. I just figured like my daughters Focus I was able to disconnect the trans fluid cooling return line and pump out a quart and fill a quart one at a time until I finally got fresh fluid to come out of the line.
Thanks for the help, Hanky
