Default Attn: FX 4 Level II owners...

I have a ’04 FX 4 level II and am experiencing a vibration/shudder when I accelerate from a complete stop. It isn’t as noticeable under a load or in cold temperatures, but it is still there. I have taken it into the dealer a couple of times and they say it is normal because of the amount of torque the truck produces, but that doesn’t sound right to me.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

It sounds like your problem might be theU-joints. Unless you know how to inspect them yourself, I would take the truck somewhere other than a dealer that offers a free inspection. How many miles do you have on your truck, and how often do you pull a trailer or anything?
