I disconnected brake pedal switch to check if that was it but brake light filaments were still triggered by parking lights. Disconnected the wire tapping into parking light from alarm system's brain assuming it was affecting the lighting but brake light filaments are still burning bright when I turn on the parking lights. 3rd, got a tip it might be a shorted trailer hook-up problem and so I snipped the trailer light plug's harness and the brake lights still are on when I turn on parking lights. Anyone got an idea?
