I have a 2001 ford ranger. I need to get a new front drive shaft, the cheapest one I can find is $500.00 which I find is pretty rediculous. Im looking for a cheaper one or a used one.

Also wondering if any other year rangers would have the same size drive shaft or any other small trucks. Ive heard that mazdas were also made by ford for a while so thought maybe a certain mazda drive shaft would fit.

Any help would be appreciated.
