Default Fuctuating oil guage in '92 ranger

My oil guage starts to fkuctuate after about 1/2 hour of drive time. It decreases when I come to a stop, increases when I accelerate. I shone a flashlight in the cap hole and can see oil moisture but I need to find out if it's guage, pump, or a bearing. I would have it put on scope but shops want to much and autozon doesn't scope models below'96. I am stuck between rock and hard place because of financial tightness. Any input will be really appreciated, Thank-you.

hmmmm.... just make sure you got oil in it. then take it to a shop and see if they can tell if you have any oil pressure. the if you have oil in it and the gauge is still going goofy on you then its the gauge that is messed up and i would not worry about it. i have heard on here of that happening to other people.
