Fuel Pump Cut off switch

I have a 2005 ranger and the fuel pump cut off switch keeps tripping. Will replacing the switch fix the problem or is there something else in the circuit thatmight becausing the switch to trip?

radio on 97 explorer cuts on and off on its own sometimes cant even change stations or cut it on
