Hi Mike,
There are usually 3 sizes of push in 2 prong fuses Mini, Standard and Maxi.
When purchasing them try to get ATO type fuses. The tops are open and can be checked a lot easier with a test lite or meter.

How do I know which one I have? These are all in the driver's side dash

Take a fuse and go to the auto part store and match it. I thought they were mini type fuses but you already said those are wrong.

I can't find the picture of what I was talking about now. But there were two types of the mini fuses. One seems a little wider than the other. But I managed to get them all installed correctly and correct amps. Sadly it didn't fix the issue I was hoping for. Seems it's the fuel pump. Joy joy lol

Maybe if you shared the problem with us, we might be able to save you some time and $$$.

Checked all fuses and relays and all are good. Fuel filter was replaced a couple of months ago. No leaks anywhere, and half a tank of gas. Sprayed starting fluid in and it'll run for a few seconds and cuts off.

Do you hear the fuel pump run for the usual 2 seconds when you first turn the key on?

If you can, when cranking the engine attempting to start it, either you or have someone bang on the bottom of the fuel tank. Sometimes this will get the pump to start running if it is the pump motor. It will continue to run, but if you shut it off this will not usually work a second time. That will allow you to put/take the vehicle to were the pump module can be replaced.
If it is the original pump motor, it has been working for 18 years and could be due for replacement.

If you can determine which is the fuel pump relay ,in the engine compartment, switching relays would eliminate that possibility.

Yea I forgot that part. We don't hear anything from the back of the truck. We hear something from the engine though. We did tap/bang the tank with a small hammer to see if it would work but had no luck.

Because the pump only gets power to operate when the key is first turned on OR the engine is cranking or running, that is when you have to bang on the tank bottom..A rubber mallet or a kick from your foot sometimes will take the place of a mallet.
