grinding while turning, bumping at speed, not the u joints
my truck bumps a lot at 65 and over. my truck grinds when I am turning on an off ramp and changing lanes. I had my u-joints replaced, have checked my trani and power steering fluids. had the little plastic box thing replaced in the back of my engine, had tires alligned. what could this be? could this be a steering wheel issue? all sources say u joint but i had it fixed and still problem persists. would appreciate any insights or suggestions. oh yeah, i have a 98 ford ranger xlt 3.0 v6 160 000 miles

Some more info would maybe be helpful.
Is this vehicle with 4 wheel drive?
Which u-joints were replaced and by whom?
Please explain, "all sources"
Do you feel the problem more in the steering wheel or in the entire vehicle.
Where do YOU think the noise/bumping is coming from?
Is it more pronounced at the front, rear, driver's side or passenger side?
As you can gather, the more info you can provide the better, since we can't actually drive the vehicle.
Thanks
